Every year, the Friends of Foothill Family creates a benefit event to support Foothill Family Service. The Annual Benefit raises approximately one-fifth of Foothill's unrestricted operating funds every year - an extraordinary impact on our agency! Each benefit centers around an exciting theme, which have ranged from Tropical Fling to Parisian Rendesvous to the glamorous Foothill Goes Hollywood.
The 2012 benefit, "The Havana Social Club, " was held at the California Club in downtown Los Angeles. The Cuban-themed fundraiser, which sold out in record time, raised more than $255,000 in support of Foothill Family Service.
The Friends of Foothill Family worked tirelessly to design and organize the successful event and with a new committee already in place, the 2013 benefit, "The Gatsby Affair," will not disappoint! Plans are already underway for an exciting, jazz-era themed evening at the California Club on March 16, 2013.
The Friends of Foothill Family is a philanthropic group of more than 100 amazing women from Pasadena, Altadena, San Marino, La Cañada and surrounding areas who dedicate time and energy to Foothill Family Service. They plan and coordinate Foothill Family's Annual Benefit, which has raised over $1.8 million for Foothill Family Service since 2001, as well as other exciting parties and events throughout the year.
