The Friends of Foothill Family is a philanthropic group of over 100 amazing women from Pasadena, Altadena, San Marino, La Cañada and surrounding areas who dedicate time and energy to Foothill Family Service.
The group was founded in 2000 by civic leaders Lori Winters Samuels and Shannon Seiter Williamson. The Friends of Foothill Family plan and coordinate Foothill Family's Annual Benefit Gala, which has raised over $1.8 million for Foothill Family Service since 2001, as well as participate in the agency’s Back-to-School Backpack Program and the Annual Adopt-A-Family Program during the holidays
