- December 2016: "Adopt" a Family in Need During the Holidays
The Adopt-A-Family Program distributes holiday gifts of clothes, toys and necessities to local families in need during the holiday season. The Program matches financially struggling families who receive treatment from Foothill Family Service with local donors — such as individuals, families, scout troops, classrooms, clubs and church groups — who would like to brighten the holiday season for a family experiencing hardship. Families available for "adoption" range in size from small to large, and come from the San Gabriel and Pomona valleys, Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, Burbank, and surrounding communities. Due to the current economic climate, participation in the Adopt-A-Family Program is especially appreciated. For more information regarding Adopt A Family, please contact Rachelle Gayl, Director of Development at 626-993-3013 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
