Back-to-School Backpack Program

On August 30th, 2007, we held a distribution event at our El Monte Family Center and gave away over 450 filled backpacks in less than 3 hours.

The Friends of Foothill Family organize and spearhead our Back-to-School Backpack Program each year.  This program helps our neediest clients start the school year right with the tools they need to be successful.  This past summer, we collected, filled and distributed a record breaking 1,600 backpacks!  Thank you Leslie Clayton and Debra Spaulding, Backpack Co-Chairs and the Friends of Foothill Family for all your time, energy and generous support.
