Please join us for an elegant evening with the Friends of Foothill Family on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the private California Club in Los Angeles. This year’s event, "Foothill Goes Hollywood," celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Friends of Foothill Family in glamorous style! We will be honoring the Friends' past presidents as the "Leading Ladies" of our 40's style Hollywood event. Benefit Chairs Erika Foy and Kristin Harrison have a fabulous evening of celebration and fundraising planned, and we hope you will join us in honoring:

Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served starting at 6:00 p.m. during the opportunity drawing and Super Silent Auction. Dinner starts at 8:00 p.m. with the exciting Live Auction. Dancing to live music follows. Attire is black tie preferred for the gentlemen, and classic formal or cocktail attire for the ladies. Red lipstick is a must!

The much-anticipated Live and Super Silent auctions will be joined by an expanded offering of special parties and events happening throughout the year. Exciting items include a one-week stay at a dude ranch in Montana, a "Bollywood" themed extravaganza, a Cinco de Mayo fiesta, along with a Rose Bowl package, golf outing, and a press box experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers. There will be a chance to bid on a Hollywood portrait session, including hair by Dynasty Salon, Makeup and brows by Brau Haus, jewels by Asanti and photography by Nick Boswell. Get the look that our past presidents achieved in their signature portraits! Asanti Jewelers of San Marino has also donated a fabulous jewelry piece for the evening's opportunity drawing.

The Friends of Foothill Family is an all-volunteer service guild of over 100 amazing women from Pasadena, San Marino, La Canada, and surrounding areas who dedicate their time and energy to actively seek support for Foothill Family Service. Incredibly, over the last 10 years over ONE MILLION DOLLARS has been raised to assist Foothill Family in providing vital services to children and families affected by child abuse and domestic violence. The Friends President is Stacey Fortner of Pasadena.
