Foundation Grants

Each year, Foothill Family aims to secure more than $1 million in foundation grant funding to support our work. From capital projects to general operating, from child abuse prevention to elder abuse treatment, from parent education to family counseling, the funding we receive from private and family foundations is essential to our daily operations in caring for the mental health of our communities.

Foothill Family is always looking to deepen relationships with existing foundation partners and build relationships with potential funders. Help us grow and strengthen our connections! Volunteer Opportunities

Time and talent are just as essential to Foothill Family’s community care as is treasure! If you are interested in committing your time or talent as a volunteer, we have opportunities ranging from events to clerical projects.

Join the Friends of Foothill Family

Founded in 2000, the Friends of Foothill Family is a volunteer group that act as ambassadors for Foothill Family in their communities while spearheading fundraising efforts through social events and community connections. Learn more about them.

Projects & Events

Join other community volunteers to gather school supplies and stuff backpacks; collect gifts and wrap presents during the holidays; or staff donor events like the annual black-tie gala! Are you a photographer, musician, or have a talent in entertainment that could add an extra WOW to an event? We want to hear from you too!

Programs

Early Head Start Volunteer – Organize and plan community and family events, develop and implement strategies to increase volunteerism in the Early Head Start Program, participate in group socializations, collect and analyze data, participate in meetings, trainings, and events, and shadow various early childhood education/prenatal service providers.

Clerical

As a non-profit organization, there is never a shortage of office projects that could use an extra pair of hands! Volunteer your time to help us fold and stuff mailers, scan files for digital storage, or update information in resource guides.
