Frequently Asked Questions

Am I guaranteed to be seen?

We do our best to see everyone, but some days are busier than others. If all spots fill up, we’ll offer you an appointment or you can come back on another clinic day.

Can I have multiple children assessed on the same day?

No. Due to the length of the assessment time, each child will be assessed on a different day.

Will you contact the second parent for consent (clients under 18)?

Yes, we try to get consent from the second parent before the clinic. If we’re not able to, we’ll try again on the day of the clinic. Parents with legal custody can decline services at any time.

Can I consent for myself if I'm a minor?

Yes, if you’re 12-17 years old, you can request to consent for yourself. This can be discussed during your assessment to determine if it’s appropriate.
